I have been in Oakland, CA since August 2, 2006.  So much as happened.  I love the area.  I love school, and I love the people who He places in my path.

The first year is over.  I am doing well.  The opportunites here are amazing.  I met so many people from Cali during the Katrina Relief in NOLA.  I have been able to meet and greet several of them.  It still amazes me how God went before me and prepared the way.  He allowed me to get rooted in Caring First.  It is there I was turly discipled and loved by a congregation that forever changed my life and the path I would walk.  It is there also I initially went on the Katrina Relief Missions trip with a team from their church.   He called me into full time ministry while on that trip.  I returned home after two weeks, sold all and went back to NOLA.  There I spent nine months doing Katrina Relief Ministry and working with teams from all over the USA. Some came from even as far away as Canada:) 

I have been abble to stay in touch with several of the people I met in while in NOLA.  He used the time while I was in NOLA to form relationships that will be part of the rest of my life and will extend into eternity.  I have met prayer partnes, prayer warriors, and friends that will always remain a part of my heart.  Why God loves me so much I will never know.  I agree with Paul...the only thing good in me is Christ.

Do not be afraid to step out into the dream and calling of God.  It is an adventure and He loves you every bit as much as He loves me.  He has plans for you...to prosper you....He desires to use you to reveal His Son, Jesus Christ, to the hearts men, women and children in todays world.  Rember in Christ all things are possible:)
